Honestly, if the front bumper was not as wild and maybe if some of the sound system was taken out, I'd drive it. If he told me what paint he had used on it, and I could get the stock body parts painted to match, I'd buy it. That is, so long as the engine and drivetrain were taken care of. I see no mention of NOS or "STAGE 42 EXEDY CLUTCH" or "TEINEMINKINSTEIN FULL RACE COILOVER 22" DROP". 7500 for a mint 300ZX NA with manual? A touch high but damn man, 88k miles? He priced it right, I think.

Any time I hear "Custom" I shudder a bit.

Surprisingly that one isnt *that* bad. It is pretty F&F but relatively modest, non obnoxious paint, no decals.. It has 15 too many vents but overall far from terrible.

I'd put the budget at about 10k total for both the car and what I want to do to it. Find some good condition body parts, paint to match, remove some of the excess sound system, and paint the wheels a darker gray. Oh and an ECU flash for some efficiency and then cruise the wheels off of it.

But I like the orange paint and if the car has had a quality job done to it (which, it actually might have) then that paint job would cost me a shitload to duplicate on another 300ZX. I like your wheels a lot more, but wheels are easy enough to swap. Plus I live about 20 miles from this car where your 300zx is.......not 20 miles from my house.

Fancy. Do have to appreciate interchangeable parts. My dash cluster, autostick shifter and boot were donated by a stratus. Plus my hood was sold as a Stratus hood and the Ebay seller didnt want to sell it to me due to fit issues - but they're the same.

And mine:

I do like the Stratus fenders though since they have a flare to them where as mine are just rounded.
